Continuing the paddle preparations

Time is counting down. 135 days before I stop working so I’m getting pretty excited. I continue to make progress on fine-tuning the gear list and swapping out items for smaller lighter weight items. I’ve finished all of the rigging on the Taran and getting it ready to go. I decided to take the Taran out for a spin and did a 28 mile paddle on the Saturday before Memorial Day. It was a great day – see pictures below. There will be very few updates between now and the middle of October and then I’ll start doing regular updates as we get close to the launch date. Time is flying by.
Here comes the sun – new friends on the water – reflections – up to the rapids – another rest stop.
