Seeing the sites and paddling in many different areas is a great way to see Italy. Especially all of the more remote locations.
We left our B&B and drove about an hour into the mountains to a postcard perfect lake to paddle. Great mountain scenery and small villages hanging on the side of the mountains. Here are some shots from today. You may have to zoom in to see the details. 
We had a good lunch at the little resort on the lake and Marco and I paddled some more. We ended up paddling the entire lake. Erika took a break to soak up the scenery and relax while we were out. This was a beautiful paddle day.
We then took the mountain roads over to Sulmona to meet up with Susan and Ruth. We’ll all paddle another mountain lake tomorrow.
That’s it, have to run to breakfast.
