Hi Scott, I'm the guy who was fishing in Deep Creek early in the morning of 22 Nov. Every person to whom I've spoken about your circumnavigation has exclaimed some version of "holy cow!" My shoulders hurt just thinking about it.

Scott if you plan on a motel stay in Steinhatchee I suggest the Good Times Motel. They are River right just before the bridge. A ramp makes it easy and they have great food. I last stayed there with Mark and Jim. In 2010 Ian and I stayed there while doing the CT. The owners were great and rode us to the store for supplies. A couple summers ago when motels were full for scallop season I camped on the spoil island on right just before entering the town. Happy Thanksgiving.
